Becktive Boyne

One of the pictures I took after getting the ND filter, went for a walk around Becktive abbey, on the way back to the car took this picture of the Boyne.

Rome

I gave my brother Eugene the use of my camera on his trip to Rome with his Girlfriend Annemarie. He managed to take over 1000 photos in 3 days. Here is one I processed through Photomatix.

Iveagh Gardens

After a good few months away from the blog I've decided I'm going to try post a least 1 picture a week, this is my new years resolution! I've been busy the last few months with Baby Jack and getting Studio 67 up and running. Were almost there with the Studio, I'll be adding some of the pictures over the next few weeks.

To ease myself back into posting I've added one of my favorite pictures. I took this a few months back in Dublin after I bought my first ND filter.

Liverpool

Just back from a 2 day stint in Liverpool with the job, managed to get out for a few hours grab a few shots. The docklands and City centre have some beautiful old buildings, I'll add some more pictures later.

Got out today for sunset, stopped off opposite the hurling pitch in Kilmessan, then headed up to Tara Hill.

Stopped off at Warrenstown College on the way home from work Thursday. Nice scenery.

Just got back from the Rory Gallagher festival in  Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, great weekend, got to see some cool bands and get wasted for a few days!, first few are below, I'll upload more later...

Had a day to myself, travelled to Drogheda and then down the coast to Balbriggan and finally Lough Shinney.

Maynooth

Just before we began the photo shoot with Jenny I had a few minutes to spare, Andrew showed me the inside of the Cathedral in Maynooth, its amazing. I stuck 2 flower shots taken the same day.

Last week I was asked to take some pictures of my nephew Andrew's girlfriend Jenny. She had entered a competition after designing a dress made out of newspapers and magazines. It was the first photo shoot I had ever done but I was happy with the results!

Trim Road

Its been a while since I have uploaded any pictures so I'll put up a few together. First up is 3 pictures taken today. The meadow is on the Trim road, I've passed it over and over and finally got to get a few shots, The other 2 are just down the road from my house.

Got up at 5:30 saturday morning to go to take a few pictures of The Comeragh lake, I was that tired when I made it to the lower lake (seriously unfit) I decided to leave the larger lake until the summer! I'll have to get some mountain climbing practice in before then.
